Product Overview

The Data Center Air Conditioning System is a comprehensive air conditioning solution designed for large data centers, AI data centers, and hyper-scale computing facilities, covering the complete chain from the cooling source side to the terminal side - including the central chiller plant (chillers, cooling towers, pumps, plate heat exchangers), terminal air handling equipment (AHU, precision air conditioners), and intelligent control systems - forming a complete building-level air conditioning system assembly.
The system is built around a central chiller plant, utilizing water-cooled or air-cooled chillers as the cooling source, with chilled water distributed to terminal equipment throughout the facility. Terminals can be flexibly configured with precision air conditioners or air handling units, supporting multiple airflow arrangements. An intelligent group control system enables coordinated operation between the cooling source and terminals for optimized energy efficiency, meeting the cooling demands and energy targets of large-scale data centers.
The system supports water-cooled, air-cooled, or dual-cool source configurations, flexibly selectable based on water resource availability, climate conditions, and reliability requirements. Terminal equipment offers multiple airflow configurations to accommodate various room layouts.
Key Features
System-Level Energy Efficiency
Full-chain energy optimization from cooling source to terminals, featuring high-efficiency variable-speed centrifugal or screw chillers as the core cooling source, equipped with electronic expansion valves (EEV) and EC fans for system-level on-demand cooling. Overall system efficiency outperforms single-equipment optimization, effectively reducing overall data center PUE. Optional free cooling modules maximize utilization of outdoor natural cooling sources during transition seasons and winter, significantly reducing compressor energy consumption.
Reliable & Redundant
N+X redundancy design with critical components supporting online maintenance ensures 24/7 uninterrupted cooling system operation. Both cooling source and terminal equipment can be configured with redundant backup, ensuring system operation remains intact in the event of a single point of failure. The dual-cool source system integrates both air-cooled and water-cooled systems in one, with water-cooled as the primary mode and air-cooled as backup. During summer, the high-efficiency water-cooled system operates as the priority; during winter or when the water-cooled system is under maintenance, it automatically switches to the air-cooled system to ensure year-round uninterrupted cooling. Intelligent power monitoring is provided as standard, delivering real-time alerts for phase loss, phase reversal, overvoltage, undervoltage, and other power anomalies. Supports dual power input for enhanced reliability.
Intelligent Control System
Equipped with a centralized monitoring and management platform, multi-level password access control, and self-diagnostic system functions. Comprehensive monitoring and display of full-chain operational status and key parameters of cooling source equipment, pumps, cooling towers, and terminal air conditioners. Supports coordinated group control of cooling source and terminals with advanced features including demand-based cooling, load prediction, equipment rotation, and automatic failover. Supports auto-restart after power failure, scheduled on/off, and historical data storage and analysis. Compatible with Building Management Systems (BMS), with communication protocols flexibly configurable based on project requirements.
Flexible Deployment & Rapid Delivery
Supports water-cooled, air-cooled, or dual-cool source configurations, flexibly selectable based on water resource availability, climate conditions, and reliability requirements. The system can be deployed as a central chiller plant in a dedicated equipment room or as modular chiller plants distributed outdoors or on rooftops, adaptable to various site conditions. Key equipment is factory-prefabricated and pre-commissioned, requiring only positioning, piping, and utility connections on-site. Multiple delivery formats available including containerized chiller plants, integrated high-efficiency chiller rooms, and cooling skids.
