This large-scale commercial complex integrates cinema, dining, fitness, and retail spaces, with a total floor area of 183,000m² and an air-conditioned area of 164,000m². The project demands high-performance cooling capacity, operational efficiency, and system flexibility to accommodate diverse zone requirements.
Core Challenges
① No Dedicated Chiller Plant Room: The project lacks a designated chiller plant room, requiring all equipment to be installed on the 4th-floor rooftop, with available space limited to just 10.8m × 3.0m;
② Diverse Zone Load Profiles: Cinemas, restaurants, retail areas, and fitness centers each have distinct cooling load characteristics requiring flexible capacity modulation;
③ Extremely Tight Construction Schedule: On-site installation time is severely constrained, with no provision for extended commissioning periods;
④ High Energy Efficiency Requirements: As a large commercial complex, HVAC energy consumption represents a significant operational cost, demanding maximum system efficiency.
The project adopts an 800RT magnetic bearing centrifugal chiller as the core cooling source, integrated with high-efficiency pumps, high-performance cooling towers, and an intelligent control system to form a high-efficiency centralized chiller plant. The magnetic bearing chiller delivers oil-free operation, low friction losses, and exceptional full-load and part-load efficiency.

Space-Optimized Design
To accommodate the extremely limited rooftop space of 10.8m×3.0m, the design team conducted multiple rounds of optimization to ensure rational equipment layout within the confined area. The cooling tower support structure features double-layer corrugated panels and steel frames, fully meeting rooftop load-bearing requirements and ensuring long-term operational safety.

High-Efficiency Variable-Speed Configuration
The chiller, pumps, and cooling towers all feature variable-speed drives, automatically adjusting operating frequencies based on real-time load conditions - delivering on-demand cooling and effectively reducing part-load energy consumption.

Rapid Installation & Commissioning
Equipment is factory-pre-assembled and pre-commissioned, requiring only 1 day on-site installation with no on-site commissioning needed - minimizing disruption to the commercial complex's normal operations.
