WTT Electrics Factory Thailand Project

--Total Cooling Capacity: 1,900 RT · Green & Low-Carbon Solution for Precision Electronics Manufacturing

Project Background

WTT Electronics Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shenzhen Jove Circuit Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 300814) in Thailand, located in the Sino-Thai Rayong Industrial Park, within the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) core area. With a total investment of approximately RMB 500 million, the project is planned to build a PCB production base with an annual capacity of 1 million square meters. As Jove Circuit's first overseas factory, WTT's products will primarily serve the communication, automotive electronics, industrial control, medical, and consumer electronics sectors.

Project Challenges

Thailand's tropical climate features year-round high temperatures and humidity, requiring the central air conditioning system to operate continuously throughout the year, resulting in significant energy consumption. Meanwhile, the Thai government imposes strict regulations on high-energy-consuming products - only systems meeting national energy efficiency standards are eligible for a 20% energy-saving subsidy. Precision electronics manufacturing demands extremely stringent temperature and humidity control, as any fluctuation could affect PCB product yield. The core challenge was to achieve maximum energy efficiency while meeting the rigorous environmental control requirements.

Solution

Hisense provided a Refrigerant Levitation Oil-free Centrifugal Chiller solution for the WTT Thailand factory project, with a total cooling capacity of 1,900 Refrigeration Tons (RT) , fully meeting the factory's full-load operational requirements.

Key technical highlights of the solution include:

01.Industry-Leading Positive Pressure Liquid Levitation Oil-Free Technology
The chillers feature Hisense's independently developed positive pressure liquid levitation oil-free technology, using subcooled liquid positive-pressure refrigerant (R134a/R513A/R1234ze(E)) as the lubricating medium for centrifugal compressor bearings, enabling ceramic bearing balls to float in liquid refrigerant. No lubricating oil is required, completely eliminating the impact of oil film on heat exchange efficiency and ensuring zero performance degradation over long-term operation.

02

Aerospace-Grade Ceramic Bearings for Unmatched Reliability

The units are equipped with aerospace-grade high-precision ceramic bearings, delivering high load capacity, low power consumption, and long service life. Bearing friction power consumption is below 1kW, significantly reducing energy consumption compared to conventional bearings.

03

Ultra-High Energy Efficiency with COP up to 7.20

The units achieve a COP (Coefficient of Performance) of up to 7.20 and a national standard IPLV of 10.0, far exceeding China's Grade 1 energy efficiency standard. Compared to conventional oil-containing chillers, the comprehensive energy savings are substantial, effectively reducing long-term operating electricity costs and meeting Thai government requirements for energy-saving subsidies.

04

Wide Capacity Modulation and Intelligent Control

The units feature wide-capacity modulation capability, automatically adjusting output based on actual factory load to deliver on-demand cooling and precise temperature control. With variable frequency drive technology, starting current is low with minimal impact on the power grid.

05

Low Noise and Environmentally Friendly for Green Manufacturing

The oil-free design eliminates the operating noise of the lubricating oil circulation system, resulting in low noise and environmental friendliness, supporting WTT's vision of a green and low-carbon smart factory.

Project Value

The successful implementation of this project not only provides a stable and reliable temperature control environment for WTT's precision PCB production but also demonstrates Hisense's strong delivery capabilities in central air conditioning systems for large-scale overseas electronics manufacturing facilities. Upon full production, the project will effectively enhance Jove Circuit's overseas production capacity, meeting the growing global demand for high-quality PCBs in both China and Thailand. Hisense HVAC will continue to deepen its presence in the electronics industry, delivering energy-efficient products and premium solutions to customers worldwide
