Located in Miami, Florida, this iconic project features the world-renowned luxury hospitality brand Waldorf Astoria. With its subtropical monsoon climate - hot and humid summers (temperatures often exceeding 35°C with humidity above 90%) and mild winters - the system must operate at high load year-round, placing exceptionally high demands on cooling efficiency, stable operation under extreme heat and humidity, and energy efficiency. As a high-rise building, space constraints and maintenance difficulties present additional challenges for system compactness and long-term reliability.
The project adopts Hisense W Series with a total capacity of 800HP. Designed specifically for premium commercial applications, the W Series features full DC inverter technology, meeting the latest energy efficiency standards while delivering powerful output even under extreme heat. Its compact design effectively saves equipment space and flexibly adapts to the limited space conditions of high-rise buildings.
Since commissioning, the system has been operating stably, providing a high-quality indoor environment for hotel guests and apartment residents - serving as a benchmark case for Hisense in the North American luxury hotel sector.
