Project Background
A sub-project of China (Dezhou) Agricultural Food Innovation Industrial Park, covering 635 mu with RMB 200M investment and 30,000m² greenhouse area. Crops include strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and tomatoes.
Project Challenges
High winter heating demand for greenhouses required clean energy alternatives to coal-fired boilers, with strict operational cost control.
Solution
Hisense water source heat pumps with total heating capacity of 3,156kW. The system uses 4 deep wells (1,500m, 2 extraction + 2 reinjection) with 52℃ geothermal water, extracting heat through 3-stage plate heat exchangers. Heat pumps deliver up to 65℃ water for greenhouse heating. Remote monitoring & unattended operation enabled.
Seasonal heating output of 3,240,813 kWh with only 329,670 kWh electricity consumption – achieving an outstanding COP of 9.83.

The system runs stably, meeting winter temperature requirements for all crops, providing a clean, efficient, and replicable heating model for northern facility agriculture.
