Phalaenopsis Cultivation Base, Pingdu, Qingdao

Located in Pingdu, Qingdao, the project covers 23,328㎡ across two phases, with 7 greenhouse sections and 1 tissue culture center, total cultivation area of 11,600㎡ in Venlo-type multi-span structures. Annual production capacity: 4 million phalaenopsis plants, with an output value of RMB 8 million.

Phalaenopsis orchids are highly sensitive to temperature variations across growth stages - requiring summer cooling at 18–20℃, winter heating at 26–28℃, and precise day/night control during flower bud differentiation (day 23–24℃ / night 18℃). Pingdu's cold winters cause significant heating capacity degradation in standard HVAC equipment.

The project deploys 14 Hisense HFR-150W/H1F low-temperature air-cooled heat pumps, delivering 2,100kW cooling capacity and 2,254kW heating capacity. These units are specifically engineered for cold climates, maintaining stable heating output even at -15℃. The Venlo greenhouse is paired with supply air ducts and exhaust systems for uniform air distribution and proper ventilation.
The system has been operating stably since commissioning, fully meeting the precision temperature control requirements for year-round, large-scale phalaenopsis cultivation - serving as a replicable benchmark for flower greenhouses in northern China.
